How to decide provisioning profile is development or distribution by looking into it

We have to look for the key get-task-allow in the mobileconfig.

If it is true then development or else distribution or adhoc

Check JRE or JDK installed

Enter the following commands in Command Prompt or Terminal

JRE

java -version

JDK

javac -version

Show hidden files in mac osx

1.Open the terminal and enter

   defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES

2.Relaunch the finder by holding alt/option and rightclick on finder and choose relaunch

The other way is true for hiding the hidden files in finder
